1:1 And the angel said unto me “Why dost thou tempt thy Lord? Why doth thou see it fit to cast thine spite upon his eye, and stand defiantly against His will?”
1:2 And to him I replied “The Lord hath given unto me and all men the power to defy His will, and I chooseth to stand before His wrath, and die like a man on my feet before I die as a dog on his belly.”
1:3 And the angel looked at me and mourned “Then you shall suffer” he said to me. “And the suffering the Lord inflicts on you will be ten fold the grief you cause Him with thy defiance.”
1:4 But I was not shaken “Let him cause me suffering, let Him plague me with boils, and steal the food from my mouth, and cause my fellows to strike against me with sword and arrow, and let Him kill all that I love, I will not bow before Him. For I sayeth God is naught but a cat toying with a mouse before delivering the killing blow and I am greater then a cat, and would not bow before one.”
1:5 And the angel shook his head. “Surely you would concede that if God is likened to a cat then He is surely a Lion.”
1:6 And I was forced to admit the point. “Truly, if God were to be feline then He would be King of the entirety of beast, but sayeth still I am greater then a Lion, and could strike one down with the might of my mind and my will, so still I will not bow before Him.”
1:7 And the angel mourned, and still I stood defiant.

I like it. The character is a fool in my eyes. A fools fool infact.
If hes arguing with an angel then obviously god is real, then if god is real he is the ultimate creator of everything, and this guy is defying him out of not strength but stubborness and and arrogance. But thats just me opinion, doesnt make me correct lol.
